User Experience (UX)
The overall experience and satisfaction of a person interacting with a product, system, or service, end to end.
In practice
User experience covers everything a person goes through with a product or service, from first hearing about it to using it daily and getting help when something fails. It includes usefulness, ease, trust and feeling. A food delivery app's UX includes its menus and buttons, but also accurate delivery times, how refunds are handled, and whether the meal arrives warm.
Often confused with User Interface (UI)
UX is the whole end-to-end experience, including service and outcomes; UI is the specific set of screens and controls a person interacts with.
